“First Environment Test in the Books”
The week our team witnessed the perseverance and dedication of our fans. February the 6th marked a huge milestone for WANTED, because it was the day of our first environment test and over one-hundred volunteers showed up to help participate.
It wasn’t always smooth sailing, but it was a success in every sense of the word. We saw what parts of the West are on the right track, and what parts need just a bit more loving.
We appreciate the patience that every volunteer showed as the build reached its ready-state, and we appreciate all you who even stopped by our stream to interact with three members of the team during the test.
Our head honcho and Lead Designer, Nathan Weatherford was there, as was the always-brilliant Community Manager, Danielle Soloski. Oh, and some rough-looking simpleton managed to crawl his way onto the screen. I don’t know who he is, but I do not think I like him.
With our first major environment test complete, many of you gained your right to be called WANTED’S tester elite. And a title like that is worth showing off–which is why I’m hoping most of you unlocked the Tester’s Tophat by spending 30-minutes or more on the test server.
If not, there will be more chances as tester bonuses down the line when we open our doors for more tests. And speaking of which…
The keys that got you into WANTED’S test servers have gone the way of the warrior. They are kaput. No longer valid. Gone. This is to keep things tidy and easier on you, our testers, for the next round.
All you have to do to get your new key and a chance at the Tester’s Tophat (and maybe more) is follow this link and fill out the Pre-Alpha Tester Application. This is important–it’s the only way you’ll be able to participate in future tests. So get to signin’!
We’ll see you the next time. There will definitely be more streams in the future, so look forward to those as well. We loved interacting with you, and you’ll get to meet the rest of the crew real soon. Until then.
Editor’s Question of the Day: What would you like to have showcased in upcoming tests?
